Who We Are
Planet Land Comics is the publisher and site for comics by Eoin Magee and Cory Tran.
My objectives are to make our comics readable online and to have a store for our printed comics. I’ve made no conscious attempts to, nor wish to, collect or use your data beyond those objectives (and I don’t mean that in a twisted corporatespeak way). Still, with the tools available, especially with an online store, certain information is gathered and used, which is covered below. You can also contact me here.
Shipping, Payment, and Tax
Data Used: purchase total, currency, billing information, (for taxes:) the value of goods in the cart, value of shipping, destination address, (for checkout:) destination address, purchased product IDs, dimensions, weight, and quantities, (for shipping labels:) customer’s name, address, and quantities of purchased product.
When we calculate shipping, addresses are sent to the USPS.
Google Analytics (Store)
Please refer to the appropriate Google Analytics documentation for the specific type of data it collects. Purchase events will send Google Analytics the following information: order number, product id and name, product category, total cost, and quantity of items purchased.
Information shared with WooCommerce.com
When you make a purchase on WooCommerce.com and connect your account (Word Press), we will know what sites you are using the subscription on, but will not get additional usage data, or data about you.
What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Comments and Reviews
When visitors leave comments or reviews on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
Media, Contact forms, Cookies (WordPress)
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site (WordPress), or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Where we send your data
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
